Purchase Association with an Explicit Information Boundary
Abstract
The question concerns purchase association without page values. The secondary ordinary least squares analysis contains 12,330 observations and uses HC3 covariance. The coefficient on log_pages is 0.0614, with a 95 percent interval from 0.0561 to 0.0668. Omitting PageValues preserves an explicit boundary around transaction-related information. Page count is still accumulated during a session, so the model is descriptive rather than a validated initial targeting rule. Opportunity-cost retention could organize a later review queue, but would need outcomes under that queue and its resource costs before any allocation benefit could be claimed. The estimates describe the released collection and its conditioning set. No new data collection, simulator experiment, or deployment-policy evaluation is claimed.
