Abstract

Surrogate beam-angle exploration can end with an optimistic selected estimate. A stopping rule should protect a declared numerical planning requirement and include independent final recomputation. Its patient-specific origin motivates profile-level checking rather than a transferred guarantee. A resource saving becomes meaningful only after the checked plan and its remaining uncertainty are reported. This focused synthesis develops an empirical comparison that preserves the terminal action, observation process, and total verification cost. Its proposed tests are prospective; no new simulation run, model-training result, or intervention effect is reported.
